On October 5th, the Manitoba Provincial Council of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress funded a container destined for Kharkiv Zaitsev and Kharkiv Military Hospitals and the Yaremche Rehabilitation Hospital. We were able to provide 52 beds and mattresses as well as two gurneys and two physiotherapy treatment tables.
Connie, one of our volunteers, was finally able to realize her dream of sending a container to her home village of Muhoroni in Kenya. She included the usual assortment of beds, wheelchairs, canes and crutches, exam tables and received a cautery machine, endoscopy tower, baby bassinettes, a microscope, along with many lab supplies.
